The Austin Family Support Cooperative Meetings are held to inform and support families of children and adults with disabilities. The meetings combine workshops and group support to share information about issues, trends, therapies, strategies and resources that families may find useful. Hundreds of parents and supporters from central Texas participate in the Cooperative designed for parents with children of all ages and types of disabilities. Volunteers would help parents of children with disabilities by providing childcare during event. Volunteers will be expected to participate in fun, supervised activities with the children in attendance.
***If you are volunteering with Easter Seals for credit for a UT class, these hours will count towards your assignment.
