Independent Program

THIS IS ONLY DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH!!!!!
Head Start has a partnership with Huffer in that we have Head Start students placed at Huffer. Therefore we partner together to provide a variety of activities throughout the school year. The Month of March will be a big literacy month. FSS Amy Jones from Head Start is planning literacy activities each day for each classroom. Volunteers will be going into different classrooms and reading age appropriate books and assisting the teacher in completing activities that compliment the book that was read. Volunteers would read the book to the children and assist with the activities. All activities ideas, supplies and books will be supplied.
Clothing would be business casual with the knowledge that paint and outside play may be involved.
