TRIO Day of Service

Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 from 8:45am to 1:00pm

About

The TRIO program is a federally-funded college opportunity programs that motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds in their pursuit of a college degree. TRIO programs provide academic tutoring, personal counseling, mentoring, financial guidance, and other supports necessary for educational access and retention. Join us at TRIO Day of Service to best understand why this program is important while volunteering.

All projects will connect to a larger theme of Access to Education and Children's Literacy, and the program will educate participants on how to extend their engagement with issues by getting involved in advocacy.
