There are a number of ways to volunteer at The DoSeum.
Gallery and Exhibits engagement with families through hands-on exhibits. Resetting and prepping of props, maintaining presentable spaces.
Public Programs- Support monthly programs developed by our Educators. Support includes material prep, testing out projects, facilitation of activities, and guest assistance.
Special Events- Support set up, break down, and engagement of guests.
Administrative work- Assisting different departments with clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, mailing,etc.
If you like working more behind the scenes: We have volunteer committees as well.

Development & Recognition
We welcome individuals 11 and up. Junior volunteers (11-13) must have an adult/chaperone 18 and older with them until they turn 14.
Must submit application.
Schedule an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator.
Attend orientation, and complete a background check form(18+) or criminal history waiver form(11-17).
Must like to work with kids.
Closed toed shoes. No torn clothing.

|Parking Details||Park in the back lot on Brackenridge & Broadway Street or along the curb or fence on Brackenridge. You will have to walk along the sidewalk on Broadway to get to the front entrance to the museum.|
