Community Garden Bed Building Day

Saturday, February 16th, 2019 from 9:00am to 12:00pm (CT)

About

Garden opening is right around the corner and we need energetic volunteers to help us rebuild some beds at the Walker Park Community Garden!  Volunteers will help remove deteriorating wood borders and replace these with cinder block, helping to create permanent and tidy beds for our gardeners.  Work will be guided by parks maintenance staff and is a good opportunity to learn about gardening and community gardens! Hosted in partnership with Chartwells Dining Services.
