About

Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls is a telephone-based program that provides opportunities for socially and physically isolated older adults to connect with others in their community and across the country. Our program offers social and educational sessions, support groups, and friendly conversation - all over the telephone - all from the comfort of home.

This volunteer opportunity involves facilitating a session with our program. We can either match you up with a session or if you have an idea for a session, we can work together to plan and figure out the details.

The time commitment for this opportunity is up to you. We create four calendars per year (winter, spring, summer, fall). Each calendar includes 13 weeks of sessions. Your commitment can range during those 13 weeks depending on how often you'd like to facilitate a session, e.g. weekly, monthly, special series (2-3), one-time only.

This volunteer opportunity is completely virtual and can be done anywhere. All you need is a telephone, computer, and internet connection.

Training and on-going support provided.
