The Lone Star Paralysis Foundation (http://www.lonestarparalysis.org) was founded by UT alumnus Doug English. Our mission is to cure spinal cord paralysis through funding research, advanced recovery and community outreach.
Each year we hold a fundraising event (The Lone Star Classic) hosted by Comedian Bill Engvall. The event includes a celebrity golf tournament and culminates with a banquet, auction and comedy show. We are holding our 36th annual event at the AT&T Center on the UT Campus Friday April 24th, and are looking for approximately 30 volunteers to help with our live auction, silent auction and check out that evening.
This is a really fun event for a great cause. Below are the shifts we need volunteers. If you are interested, please contact Heather Atteberry at email@example.com or Kim Fowler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
