Our Brodie Lane Child Development Center has an established garden that needs some TLC on an ongoing basis. Scheduling opportunities are flexible and ideal for an individual or a small group. All gardening tools & supplies will be provided. Help to nurture the outdoor learning environment created for our children!

LOCATION - 8105 Brodie Lane, Austin, TX 78745 (on CapMetro bus route)

Child, Inc., an independent 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation, is the Head Start program for Travis County, founded in 1972. We provide early childhood development programs for children from low-income families, with comprehensive services including education, health, dental, nutrition, and mental health services, along with special education for children with disabilities. Our goal is to provide each child with the necessary attention to promote the child's growth, maturation and school readiness. We operate 16 child development centers located throughout Travis County, and follow the AISD calendar of operation.

Our mission at Child, Inc. is to provide high-quality education and comprehensive support services for children and their families while promoting personal and social responsibility in the communities we serve.
