About
The D'Abate Community School (DCS) is a partnership between the Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University and the William D'Abate Elementary School. DCS serves more than 200 children in grades K-5 with afterschool programming during the academic year, and about 100 children (rising 1st-6th graders) in a 4-week summer camp.
The DCS summer camp experience aims to reduce summer learning loss and engage elementary school students in an enriching, fun, and familiar environment. Over five weeks, participants have the opportunity to explore new topics, socialize with their peers, and connect with Brown University student staff. We encourage interested, committed candidates to apply using the following Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScZJUcj-HD405fODWtpUKXunWxLX24O_xQzMODlJOse8oIeTA/viewform?usp=pp_url
