Anacostia River Boat Tour

Join DC EcoWomen to learn about the Anacostia River’s history, wildlife, environmental threats it faces, and the solutions helping to restore this important ecosystem. The guided motorboat tour will be led by a staff from Anacostia Riverkeeper.

Anacostia Riverkeeper is an advocacy organization working to restore the Anacostia River and create opportunities for the community to connect to the river.

The tour will depart and return to the Diamond Teague Park boat dock. The tour will take place on an open-air motorboat so please dress appropriately for the weather.  The tour should last up to two hours and attendees are encouraged to bring water and snacks.

While DC EcoWomen does hold co-ed events throughout the year, this event is reserved for women only.

Each person must have their own ticket. No unpaid guests and no refunds.

Note: Anacostia Riverkeeper does hold these tours free of charge, but the $10 will go toward programming at DC Ecowomen so we can continue to provide fun events for our community.
