Description

Position Description: The Outreach Committee will be responsible for fully understanding and sharing Passion Impact's (PI) story, advocating for the mission, and promoting PI's presence in the general public. Committee members will engage and educate the community about the goals and values of PI.


Responsibilities

  • Strengthen PI's relationship with the community.
  • Design and implement a community engagement plan.
  • Increase tabling presence by understanding PI's tabling strategy and redesigning it for improved results.
  • Collaborate with other committees and staff to improve advertising strategies and engage more locals.
  • Work with staff to actively recruit for board and committee members.

Qualifications

  • Experience in community outreach and developing partnerships
  • Knowledge of the local community and its resources
  • Good networking and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for volunteerism and student engagement
  • Desire to actively engage the mission
  • Committed to bettering Portland's community
