BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK CLEAN UP (GREEN TEAM) 

(Round-trip transportation provided from Campus. Volunteers should meet by St. Thomas More Church for departure.)

NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:    

Brooklyn Bridge Park is an 85-acre post-industrial waterfront site stretching 1.3 miles along Brooklyn's East River edge. Volunteers play an important role in Brooklyn Bridge Park's horticulture, education, and public programs, along with regularly maintaining and enhancing the park's landscape. 

SERVICE PROJECT: 

USD volunteers will assist with gardening and park maintenance as part of Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy's Green Team

PLEASE NOTE: 

Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing, should bring snacks (and/or lunch), and water. Be prepared with hats and sunscreen dependent on the weather.
