Description: The hiring committee aims to find qualified candidates for part-time employment to meet outstanding Passion Impact capacity needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Define PI hiring needs

  • Develop descriptions and expectations for relevant positions

  • Design and implement a community engagement plan

  • Work with volunteers and staff to actively recruit for new staff positions

Qualifications:

  • Assist PI in meeting employment needs

  • Help connect employment-seeking community members to positions for which they are appropriately skilled

  •  Facilitate progress toward PI's organizational strategic goals

  • Knowledgeable regarding state and federal employment laws

  • Knowledgeable regarding skills needed to fill gaps in capacity

  • Understanding of typical staffing needs for nonprofits

  • Good networking and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with and willingness to enact effective recruitment strategies
