Marathon - Street Ambassadors

Bass Pro Fitness Series | Marathon - Sunday, November 3

Street Ambassadors are a vital addition to the race course.  They provide a visual for the runners along the race course to assure the runners they are on the right street.  They also keep an eye out for approaching cars and direct traffic when needed.  All Street Ambassadors will be provided with an orange safety vest, which must be picked up at the John A and Genny Morris Conservation Center on November 1st between 2PM and 5PM or November 2nd between 10AM and 5PM.  Once you have picked up your vest, all you have to do is show up for your shift.

Volunteer Training Night - Monday, October 28th from 6:00PM-7:00PM at Uncle Buck's Auditorium in Bass Pro Shops, Sunshine and Campbell- Camping Department; you can pick up your vest here as well.

All volunteers working along the race route on Sunday, November 3 must attend the Volunteer Training Night on October 28th from 6:00PM-7:00PM.  As a volunteer along the race route, you will receive information on what your shift entails, what to look out for, and what to do in case of an emergency. You will also receive a handout with your specific volunteer instructions along with a race route map. Great snacks will be provided and awesome prizes will be given away!
If you are unable to attend Volunteer Training Night on October 28th, please contact our team at fitness@basspro.com.

**By attending Volunteer Training night, you can skip Volunteer Check-In on Sunday morning and instead just go straight to your volunteer shift.  We want your experience to be as easy and fun as possible.  By receiving information ahead of time, you will know exactly what to do on Sunday, November 3rd and therefore have a more enjoyable experience.

Below are all shifts for Street Ambassadors on Sunday, November 3rd.  Shifts are listed by time and street intersection. For a map of the race route, please visit the Fitness Series Website and scroll to the bottom of the website for the race route map link.

Want to be a Street Ambassador and have no intersection preference?  Email us at fitness@basspro.com and you will be randomly assigned an intersection and notified.
See an area where we need one person but you want to bring a friend?  No worries!  Email us at fitness@basspro.com and we can add you both to the area.

To pick up your free volunteer t-shirt, report back to the John A and Genny Morris Conservation Center after your shift. You will also turn in your orange safety vest at this time. Come between 11am and 2pm to also enjoy free Domino's pizza!
