Description
Launch is a program for students with intellectual disabilities who want a college experience. A mentor will work with a Launch student to allow them to experience some of the social aspects of a college experience; you will be paired one on one with a student and can be an exercise partner, go on walks, play video games together, tutor them in basic life skills...just be typical college students! We need students from 2/2:30 to 4/4:30 and also possibly some evenings, Monday through Friday. All students must pass a criminal background check and go through a brief volunteer orientation.
