The Austin Airport Ambassador Volunteer Program is designed to provide exceptional customer service to airport passengers and visitors. Volunteers offer assistance to customers in need of guidance or information.  Volunteer opportunities include stationary volunteers at the Airport’s Visitors Information Center located on the baggage claim level, volunteers at podiums located on the concourse level, and volunteers roaming throughout the concourse level. Volunteers are needed mornings, afternoons, and evenings, 7 days a week.






• Attend a comprehensive on the job training session
• Attend a minimum of 16 hours training with staff/volunteers
• Volunteer at least 4 hours a week
• Volunteer at least 6 months after training
• Ability to approach and communicate clearly in English and comfortably articulate
with a wide diversity of individuals.
