The Austin Code Department is currently recruiting for its new volunteer program, the Austin Code Community Volunteers! We're looking for neighborhood captains who can act as liaisons between our department and the community. Volunteers will help expand and enhance the capabilities of the Austin Code Department by doing things like identifying problem areas, designating and organizing community cleanup locations and by being a resource to the department and your neighbors. We will be hosting orientation/meet and greet session to give you an opportunity to get more information and ask questions about the program, as well as to drop off/fill out your application, complete your waiver of liability and to submit your background check paperwork. The orientation/meet and greet sessions are scheduled for the following days:
Tuesday, August 18 from 6 - 6:30 pm
Saturday, August 22 from 10 - 10:30 am
