POLO IN THE OZARKS is Life Styles' big fundraiser and we are looking for volunteers to assist us prepare for this event. The main event is on Saturday, Sept. 12th. Our volunteer opportunities begin Wed. Sept. 9th. at 8:00am with clean up finishing at Sunday, Sept. 13th. 1pm.
This event draws over 2,000 people enjoying a game of polo, food/drinks from the tailgates and bidding on silent auction items. After the match over 800 people enjoy a dinner/dancing to the music of "Full House" a local band.
Volunteer slots are for jobs like setting up tables, chairs, banners, recycling stations, decorations, etc.
Wed. 9/9 - 8:00am - 12:00 : All tents will be decorated with lights
Thrs 9/10. - 8:00am-finish: Main set up tables, chairs, recycle stations, etc.
Sat. 9/12 -11:00- 7pm ( 2 hours slots) recycling team, late night clean up begins at 9:00pm until after midnight
Sun. 9/13 - 8:00 All hands on deck for clean up (Everything must get off the field)

Dress appropriately for the event assignment. Use good judgment on the day of the event since you will be representing our agency.. Shorts are allowed
|Perks||Enjoy the match and foods/drinks. Before or after the volunteer slot. Tailgates open at 4:00, match starts at 4:30. Match/Tailgates close at 7:00-7:30 (when match is finished)|

|Begin to gather/sort the last bit of recycling, trash and take to the collection site.|
Clear off the dining table decorations, etc. and place under the tents. Assist the auction tent in loading the truck with leftover items.
|We have three tents that house the dining room and the auction areas. We string white Christmas lights around the whole tent.||0/8||Over|

Assemble the recycling bins and distribute on the field
Assemble the dance floor
|Maintain the recycling bins. Assist patrons in placing their items in the correct bins. Change bags out that are full which will be taken to distribution station.|
Another set of volunteers will be sorting and categorizing the material ( glass, plastic, cans, cardboard) . There are two hours shifts beginning at 11:00. .6-10 volunteers per shift depending on what time you sign up. Call the office 521-3581
