Pesto Fest is Tri Cycle Farms' largest annual community gathering and fundraising event! The event includes a pesto-making contest, live music from two local bands, tasty food from local restaurants, a raffle, garden tours, acro yoga demonstrations, a goat petting zoo, kid's activities, electric car rides, and much more. We'll be raising money to help us expand our Gardening and Nutrition Education programs.

We need lots of volunteers to help us put on the best Pesto Fest yet!! We will be spending the morning prepping the grounds, including tent/ table/ seating set-up and food prep, decorating, etc. Once the fest starts, we'll need help with parking, ticket selling, merchandise table, kid's activities, and food/ drink stations. Finally, we'd love to have a clean-up crew who can come near the end of the evening to help break it all down.

Check out the shifts and see which works for you. If you have a group who would like to register, we'd love to have you for set-up or break down. Please feel free to contact Emily Deitchler at 479-981-9483 or if you have any questions.

We will be holding a short meeting prior to the Pesto Fest for all volunteers, on Wednesday, September 9, at 5:30pm in the community house at the farm. Though this is not mandatory, it will give you a chance to get a brief tour and introduction to the farm and our mission. We'll give a breakdown of the festival schedule and show everyone where they will be stationed/ allow you to choose your station. Meeting attendance will get you a free Tri Cycle decal!

Thanks so much, and we look forward to a great, fun event and volunteer experience!
Please commit to a full shift, or else let us know in advance if you are not able to work the entire time so that we can fill in any gaps. Thanks!
PerksEnjoy a great community party while helping us to raise funds for an educational urban farm!
Parking DetailsVolunteers involved in set-up and break-down of the event should park at the Trinity United Methodist Church (1021 W Sycamore St), across the street from the farm. If you are volunteering during the event, alternative modes of transportation are preferable, or we may simply ask that you park elsewhere in order to leave space for event goers. We will be in touch prior to the day with more details.
