Description
For all home football game days we will meet at the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District tent outside of Bud Walton arena (see attached map). Plan to work on recycling efforts (collection and sorting) throughout your entire shift. Boston Mountain Solid Waste District will provide food which will be followed by fun and free t-shirts.
Bud Walton Arena is just south of the stadium near the intersection of Leroy Pond and Razorback Rd.  There will be a large trailer printed with the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District logo and a red hog pen (cage trailer).  You can park at Baum Stadium and either walk or take a bus up to campus.  The lot is first come first serve so make sure to arrive early if planning to park on campus.
Contact the Office for Sustainability if you have any further questions or run into issues finding us on game day. Give us a call at 817-692-1273 we will help you find our location. Remember to wear tennis shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Your time and effort helps the entire razorback community.  We really appreciate your commitment to recycling with the razorbacks.  The past two years, we placed 1st in the SEC and 8th in the nation in the EPA game day challenge.  With your help, we hope to be the first SEC team to achieve zero waste on game days! Wooo Pig Sooie!

Do we have to stay the whole 5 hours? or can we leave earlier?

You do not have to stay the whole time though we prefer for you to be present for at least half of the scheduled time. Any time you can give is better than none!

Do you provide free access to the game for volunteer ?

I'm afraid not. Volunteers are provided with free t-shirts, snacks, water, and sometimes we have water bottles and sunglasses from Boston Mountain to give as well. However, we work during the game so access to the stadium is not provided.
