Freedom Ladder is a nonprofit with the mission to make the world safer for young people by empowering them through popular entertainment. Our manga (comic book) "Abolitionista!" was created with the help of the FBI and educates young people about the issue of human trafficking and equips them to protect themselves. Fashion Week Event Details

Freedom Ladder currently seeks Event Coordinators to assist with our Fashion Week events.  Our Fashion Week events will take place on Saturday, September12th; Wednesday, September 16th; and, Thursday, September 17th.  This is a great opportunity if you are looking to volunteer for a one-time project.  For more information on Freedom Ladder’s Fashion week, please visit


Freedom Ladder Event Coordinators will assist with the following:

Creating a welcoming environment by meeting and greeting guests

Collaborating with the facilitation of hand-on service by selling raffle tickets and running the raffle/prize table

Managing the entryway to the event

Speaking enthusiastically to guests about Freedom Ladder and inspiring them to become involved

Advertising upcoming Freedom Ladder events as you engage guests

Supporting event organizers in ensuring that event logistics are running smoothly and troubleshooting any problems that arise
