Description

Youth Bridge's first 5K, 10K, Fun Run & Festival will be on October 17 at 9:30am. All profits support Youth Bridge & Safe Place Program. The 5k and 10k start at 9:30am and the Fun Run and Festival will start at 10am. There will be race day registration available before the race from 7-9am. There will be a safety-themed Festival held concurrently with the race from 10am-1pm. During the Festival, there will be food trucks onsite and booths from organizations around the community with games, prizes and activities for families while teaching about different safety aspects. Volunteers are needed to help with all of the day's activities.

1. Registration will have two tables: one for people who have pre-registered and one for onsite registration
2. We will have people working at each table and either checking people in or registering them.
3. We will have people working just behind each of the tables and will get registrants their appropriate sized t-shirt, race packet, swag bag (if applicable)

1. Make sure all signage is posted at appropriate places to instruct participants about what is happening where (registration, booth check in for festival, parking, etc) and signage posted along the course to indicate mile markers, route directions, water stops, etc.

2. Once the sweeper cyclist has come through indicating the last runner has gone past your assigned water station, you can pack up and return to Veterans Park.
