What to Bring: Wear clothes you feel comfortable working outside in. Please bring water.
We are so excited that you have joined us as a volunteer in the fight against breast cancer for our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk this year! This event would not be possible without your support and dedication to our life-saving mission and we are so grateful!
ARRIVAL TIME: Upon arrival, please check in at the VOLUNTEER TENT to the right of the stage. This is where you will receive your volunteer tshirt and will be given direction to begin. We will provide donuts, beverages, and pizza for you. You shift is scheduled to volunteer until 4:30.
IMPORTANT: Wear comfortable tennis shoes and warm clothes. Please wear your volunteer shirt that we give you as your TOP layer. There is a slight chance of rain so bring a rain coat or poncho. We will not have anywhere secure for you to place your personal items so please leave them at home or locked in your car. If you have a friend that would like to join you as a volunteer during your shift, they are welcome to come too! Just be sure they check in at the volunteer tent as well and we will assign them to any open roles.
