Still No Rain! Tree Watering at Kingsbury Commons/Pease Park

Saturday, September 7th, 2019 from 9:00am to 12:00pm (CT)

About

Almost no rain for the past 2 months! Help us bucket-water stressed trees.

August 2019 was the second hottest on record, and there has been virtually no rain since the end of June. Triple-digit temperatures are stressful - even for established trees. Join us this Saturday to help bucket-water stressed trees in Pease Park.

We will use buckets to water stressed trees in and around the oval trail at Kingsbury Commons in Pease Park.

Buckets and gloves provided. Caps, sunscreen, and closed-toed shoes recommended.

Location change: We will be working in Kingsbury Commons as water levels in Shoal Creek are so low that we cannot safely/easily access water from the creek at the dog park.
