Join us at the Elisabet Ney Museum for our third annual Polkapocalypse on Sunday, October 25. This event, which is going to take place from noon to 5 pm, will feature several polka bands, including headliners, BRAVE COMBO. There are also going to be art activities, dancers, and food from the Ginger Armadillo.
Similar to our other events, we will primarily need help with face painting and assisting patrons in the museum. Volunteers can choose between these two shifts: 10 am – 2 pm and 2 pm – 6 pm. During the morning shift, we are going to begin by setting up canopies, tables and chairs, and handing out supplies, and for the afternoon shift, we will finish up by taking down the canopies, and loading up equipment.
|Perks||This is a great opportunity to promote the arts while engaging with students, professionals and members of our community. Volunteers will also get to enjoy live music from all of the featured bands.|
|Parking Details||There is free parking on the surrounding residential streets.|
