Description
This training is a prerequisite for those interested in volunteering with our agency and is also very appropriate for anyone interested in learning more about the dynamics of gender and domestic violence. 

Middle Way House trains new volunteers to help maintain the level of service that they provide to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Both women and men are strongly encouraged to attend the training event. There are volunteer opportunities in many different program areas including: crisis line, childcare, tutoring, legal advocacy, community reception, and youth mentoring.

No pre-registration is necessary for the training.

There will be an hour break for lunch (Noon – 1:00 PM). Participants may bring a lunch or go out to eat.
