We'll have garden games, compost workshops, planting and poultry demonstrations, and make your own garden and backyard projects out of recycled materials to take home!

We need volunteers to help set up and break down the event, and help make crafts. See below for volunteer opportunities. See the Facebook event for Recycle Fair details https://www.facebook.com/events/110738595944780/

We have some very disappointing news, as well as a gardening silver lining. The flood conditions are causing us to cancel the Recycle Fair.

Parts of the parking lot at Gus Garcia Rec Center is under what looks like nearly a foot of water. The center is also a designated shelter for families that may be affected by the floods today. We want everyone to stay safe and will plan more gardening events at Gardens at Gus Garcia as soon as we're able.

The silver lining -- our 10,000 gallon rainwater cistern, which has been empty for almost two months, is now full!
