Did you know that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men experience violence by an intimate partner within their lifetime? Or that that the highest rates of intimate partner violence (IPV) occur for women ages 16-24?

October 22nd is recognized as this year's Purple Thursday. People across the nation will be wearing purple to raise awareness around Intimate Partner Violence. We would love to see Georgia College, the city of Milledgeville, and really just folks everywhere dressed in purple!

Don't have purple, or forget to wear it that day? Stop by our table by the A&S Fountain between 10-2 to get your awareness ribbon. Also stop by our table to learn about intimate partner violence and our remaining events for the month!
PerksFree purple ribbon! Also, you get to educate the community about intimate partner violence and therefore one of the integral parts of stopping it.
