Due to heavy rain, the meadow was too soggy for our original plans on 11/2. We are postponing until NOVEMBER 9TH AT 9AM! Please join us!
We just got a park named after one of our own - Tom Donovan Nature Trail @ Williamson Creek Central Greenbelt- and we want to spruce it up for the ribbon cutting. Tom was instrumental in securing the water tap for the Emerald Wood Community Garden and served as President of the garden for 5 years. He spent hundreds of hours removing invasive plant species; notably ligustrum and bastard cabbage. He spearheaded the City's Wildflower Meadow program, led plant ID walks for National Trails Day, and served as Parks Board member for D5 for the past 5 years. Please join us!
Our events are always family friendly and we regularly accommodate large groups. We will be mulching the trails and trees, picking up litter and ceremoniously planting pounds of bluebonnet seeds in his honor. :)

We are postponing this event 1 week due to the 5+ inches of rain that occurred immediately after PARD reseeded the whole area with wildflowers. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience and I hope you can join us on November 9 at 9am.
