Description

Do you love nature and volunteering?   

  • The Austin Nature & Science Center (ANSC) needs 5 great volunteers to assist with various tasks (to be assigned) related to the festival. 
  • Please meet at the ANSC Visitor's Pavillion by 10:45 am to recieve instructions and sign a liability waiver 
  • Please wear close toed shoes and dress for the weather  
  • You may be stationed inside or outside
  • You may be sitting or standing

These are some of the Fall Festival events to give you an idea of what the day is about:

· Learn interesting facts about our resident wildlife

· See a bat and an owl up close

· Examine differences in animals teeth, fur, and skeletons

· Find constellations in the planetarium

· Explore the nature preserve on a guided hike

 

Parking DetailsPlease park under the Mopac bridge off of 2389 Stratford Drive across from our site and walk up the entry sidewalk to the Visitor's Pavillion. Parking is first come, first served and there is no parking lot on site.
