Description
The 2016 ITASA West Coast Conference will be hosted by the Taiwanese Cultural Society, and will take place from March 31st to April 3rd at Stanford University.

We invite college students from all over the United States to attend 2016 ITASA West Coast Conference. We invite Taiwanese students; we invite Taiwanese Americans; we invite those who are interested in Taiwanese and American identity; we invite everyone that is passionate about Taiwanese and American issues; we invite anyone who wishes to participate and connect in this Taiwanese American community.

The purpose of this conference is to connect Taiwanese American students with each other; inspire by inviting leaders in the Taiwanese American that live interesting and unique life trajectories to speak and share; empower change and action by entrusting a sense of purpose and social responsibility.

Our theme for West Coast Conference this year, “Treasure Island”, was created as a celebration of the treasure in our shared cultural heritage, reflection on the disenchantment of the frequently traversed road, and testament to the belief that our own treasures – the unique meaning of life – should be created and identified for each and every one of us.
