Join Austin Parks Foundation to mulch the recently planted trees at Wooten Park in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Learn proper mulching technique in order to provide the best opportunity for these trees to survive the summer heat!

All tools including gloves and KIND bars will be provided.  

Bring a water bottle to refill and dress for the weather including long pants and long-sleeved shirts.  Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended.
All participants must sign a liability form; parents can sign for their children.
Only minors older than 15 can attend by themselves provided their parent or guardian has submitted a Minor Liability form in advance. Contact Volunteer@AustinParks.Org to request a form! Minors without a parent/guardian or a pre-submitted form will not be able to participate.
PerksAll volunteers receive KIND bars.
