Help us break the cycle of homelessness!

IGNITE volunteers for a program called Hot Meals and Homework through ForKids. Twice a month we are able to tutor and provide a hot meals for children in the community from families that have been directly affected by homelessness. Since we started volunteering in October, we've been able to make some great connections with our group of kids. We're looking to expand our current program and volunteer more often.

Because we are working with children, ForKids require that all volunteers complete a one time orientation training and background check. The training involves a brief overview of the Hot Meals and Homework program, the do's and don'ts of volunteering, and the forms needed to complete the background check. It lasts about 30 minutes total and once your background check clears you'll be ready to volunteer.
