About This Class

The Art of Creating a Codex Chronicle!
The Latin word codex describes an ancient form of books or journals made from sheets of paper such as velum or papyrus, into which words and pictures are added.   This art-centered class will allow you to create a one-of-a kind codex for all of your thoughts and great ideas.  You will be able to use laser cut images and re-purposed materials from the lab and from home.  You will also learn how to emboss metals and solder glass to enhance your cover.  The best part is you will make two codex, one to keep and one to give. Both are certain to be a treasured keepsake.
