Join us on Tuesday,January 21 for DC EcoWomen's signature EcoHour at Teaism in Penn Quarter with Patty Lovera, agriculture policy consultant. Come learn about the work Patty does to transform our food system and fight climate change. 


Patty Lovera is a food and agriculture policy consultant with a background in grassroots organizing on farm and food issues and lobbying.  Previously, Patty helped to grow Food & Water Watch, serving as the organization's Food and Water Program Director. Before joining FWW, Patty was the deputy director of the energy and environment program at Public Citizen and a researcher at the Center for Health, Environment and Justice. Patty has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Lehigh University and a master’s degree in environmental policy from the University of Michigan.


*Please note: Networking starts at 6:00pm, and the discussion with the speaker begins at 6:30pm. DC EcoWomen EcoHours are open to all women, including members of the LGBTQ community and gender fluid individuals.

*Teaism - Penn Quarter accessibility details: There is nearby ADA designated parking and the route from ADA parking to entrance is flat and paved. The door to the main entrance is not automated. Reserved seating near front for participants who are Deaf or hard of hearing is available, and the furniture is movable for participants with mobility disabilities. Restrooms with accessible stalls are available and clear signage indicates location of accessible restrooms and elevators. As attendees to this event may experience multiple chemical sensitivities, please refrain from wearing all perfumes and use fragrance-free, unscented personal care products for the duration of the event.
