COMIT Dinner: Activism On Campus

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 from 7:30pm to 9:00pm (ET)

About

Do you find yourself wondering what role civic and social activism has at MIT?

What does the concept of activism look like to you?

How do others see it, and make it actionable?

What topics are inspiring activism and civic engagement today?

What we are looking forward to in 2020?

COMIT (the Civic Organizers at MIT) is a student-run dinner series that provides an opportunity for students to talk about the civic issues of the day. Facilitated and supported by the PKG Center and the UA, the dinner series is open to input from all students about the topics they are looking to discuss and learn more about!

Join like-minded students from the UA and the PKG Center for a FREE THAI DINNER on Tuesday, December 3rd at 7:30PM. This will be a wonderful time to connect to other students who have a passion for activism, social change and civic engagement, and learn about how they turn conversation into action.

Would you like to get more involved? Feel free to reach out to Danny Becker at beckerd@mit.edu for more information on the Civic Organizer dinners and how you can get involved!
