Description
Come out to Hobbs State Park and help us remove an invasive forest herb! Garlic mustard grows in sensitive riparian forests and outcompetes native plants that provide food and habitat for wildlife. An effective method to control invasions of this plant is to remove rosettes by hand in late winter, so please join us in the morning (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) or afternoon (2:00 - 5:00 pm) to help! Tools, gloves, and water will be provided. Contact Jennifer at 479-750-8007 or jennifer@beaverwatershedalliance.org for more information and to volunteer.
