What better way is there to showcase an animal’s personality than to capture it on film? Photos and videos of our available animals are so important! They are the only glimpse that people have of an animal before they come to our shelter and see them in person. The videos are intended to feature animals outside of their kennels playing, listening to obedience commands, and interacting with people. Videographer teams should consist of at least two volunteers, one to film and one to handle the animal. Teams should have enough footage to at the end of each session to create a one-minute video. Editing experience is not required. Simply use your phone to capture the videos and email the clips to us. We’ll do the rest! Footage should include the following: · Leash walking · Basic Tricks (sit, down, shake) if known · Playing off leash in yard · Interacting with people Remember, we want these videos to be the best portrayals of our adoptable pets as possible. It is highly recommended teams take their chosen pet out for a walk and allow them to calm down before filming.
