 Scheduling for this volunteer opportunity is TBD. Mural curriculum will start late March and run four weeks following the start date. There will be several oppurtunities each week to volunteer. Once an educator decided on a date and time each week to volunteer then they are expected to volunteer the same time each week (ie: every Tuesday at 8am). Mural curriculum is the track of our programming where every student in the school participates in a lesson once per week to design a mural from start to finish. The mural will be completely student inspired and available for the community to see when placed in Downtown Fayetteville, AR. To become a volunteer educator and be involved in this process you must:

+Have either 500 hours of work/volunteer with children and/or 30+ hours of college credit (or some combination of the two)
+Pass a background check and drug test
+Be available to volunteer for a consistent 2-8 hour commitment (depending on what your schedule allows)
+Attend a 3 hour training session conducted by Art Feeds National (date TBD)

Before entering the classroom, all volunteer educators are trained on the Art Feeds Method and on how to implement the mural curriculum. Please answer all questions honestly. We will be working in local elementary schools in Fayetteville. Therefore, we will be wroking on there time schedule. So volunteer hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am to 3:30pm.
Volunteers will be doing arts and crafts with the elementary school kids.
