In celebration of National Child Abuse Awareness month, the Center for Family Relations will host a Parent-Palooza for all those who raise children. The event will involve parent-child activities that help build and model nurturing parenting.
Volunteers are needed for set up and break down of event and in particular reading books to at-risk families, managing booths for fun family games (Headbandz, Jacks, Pictionary, etc..), handing out give-aways, resource guides and coordinating food and beverage for families.
The mission of the Center for Family Relations is to protect children by providing a safe, therapeutic environment for them to maintain contact with both parents while coping with their parents’ divorce, separation, or family conflict.
