ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE? Actor Jon Adam Ross is in town writing a play by facilitating a series of wrestling/theater workshops as a pathway into exploring the psyche and experience of Jacob from the book of Genesis. We will wrestle, and discuss, and learn together about Jacob and the themes that come up in his story: lying, stealing, gender, sibling rivalry, etc. Jon will then use the conversation as material for the script he's building for the play which will premiere in Austin in November as part of the exciting inHEIRitance project, which is a nationwide theater project that has Jon making original plays in cities around the country inspired by different characters in the Torah. All box office proceeds from the final production will go to benefit local Jewish arts organizations. ***This will be a workout of a workshop, so please come in clothes you can move and sweat in. AND you do not need any wrestling experience to participate***
