Baseball Game Recycling Study

Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 from 10:30am to 4:00pm (CT)

About

Volunteers will get to watch the baseball game against Missouri while helping us learn about how much fans actually recycle. Volunteers will observe their section's fans by counting the number of fans in their section and helping to make sure that waste from fans in other sections does not go into the waste/recycling bins being monitored. Volunteers will not actively ask fans to place waste in correct bins. After waste is placed in the bin by a fan from another section (like from walking past on the way to their seat), the volunteer will simply retreive said waste and place it in an unmonitored bin. Gloves will be provided. **Extra 30-45 minutes of volunteer time offered for those who wish to stay after the game and help us sort and weigh the waste.
