Description
We understand that the vast majority of people with disabilities never have the experience of independently riding a conventional two-wheel bicycle during their lifetime. Research shows that over 80% of people with Autism and 90% of people with Down syndrome never experience this thrill. Defying these odds is why we exist!

There are 5 sessions that a volunteer can sign up for. As a volunteer, people will work with a rider that has special needs to help teach them ride a standard two-wheeled bicycle. A volunteer must be at least 16 years of age or accompanied by an adult. The volunteers will walk, jog, or run alongside the rider throughout the week as they learn to ride. The goal for the end of the week is to have the riders riding completely on their own.
