Kitten Nursery Volunteer

About

Newborn kittens are the cutest animals at KCHA. But the level of TLC they need to survive makes them extra vulnerable, too!

The fragile fuzz balls require round-the-clock attention, feedings every two hours, and help regulating their body temperature.

KCHA is seeking dedicated volunteers to work scheduled shifts in our future kitten nursery! Staffed entirely by volunteers, the nursery will give new life to at-risk kittens.

I think I managed to sign up for Monday and Friday mornings! My daughter will also attend and assist in the nursery.

Glad you're feeling better :) We'll be here! We have 3 cages in nursery with cutie pies. Maybe kitten season is slowing down!

I hate to cancel again but still have a runny nose and some coughing, which are not mask-friendly, plus improve when I stay inside with AC. Kenny loves 'letting Mother Nature in,' but I've reduced his contact to visual only. 🙄 I'm crossing my fingers for being back on Friday - going into kitten withdrawal. 🥺
