The Lower Pond Nature Trail at the Austin Nature & Science Center needs some TLC and general mainenance to keep it in great shape for youth focused programs, camp kids, school groups and general patron use and enjoyment. 

Tasks include clearing vegetation at path edges, clearing some brush, and grading/adding topsoil at the pond edges.
Must wear closed toe shoes. Please wear clothes that can be worked in and, if you have them, bring work gloves.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION PARTY: The volunteer appreciation party will be held at Rosewood Park from 12:30pm until 3pm on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Food, fun, drinks, entertainment and live music! Volunteers that did not receive the correct size T shirt can also exchange it for the right size.
Parking DetailsPlease PARK under the Mopac overpass public parking lot (2389 Stratford Drive, Austin, Texas 78746). After parking, walk across Stratford Drive to the Austin Nature & Science Center's sidewalk entry (you will see our street sign) and meet the group at the Visitor's Pavilion at 8 30 am.
