Description

Thanks for your interest in Paint the '58 Bridge Project!

Karen and Janae will be leading the effort to paint the bridge on Mountain Quail (intersecting streets Oak Hollow & Mearns Meadows). We've created a Mexican folk art design and need volunteers to execute this project in collaboration with North Austin Civic Association (NACA) and City of Austin. There will be adult volunteer opportunities as well as opportunities for families.
Volunteer opportunities include:

·  Friday, May 13th 6-8pm: Prepping the bridge (pulling weeds and paint rolling the bridge). No children, please.

·  Saturday, May 14th 9-11am: Assisting with setting up for the day (tables, water coolers, cleaning station, etc) and laying the foundation for the mural design. No children, please.

·  Saturday, May 14th 11am-1pm and 4-6pm: Painting vines, leaves, flowers and handprint flowers. Families welcome! (we have posted 30min increments for families to sign up.)

·  Sunday, May 15th: final touch-ups to the mural. No children, please.
