VSA Texas is hosting a Side by Side opportunity for young adults with developmental disabilities ages 15 - 22 to work with professional artists in the radio broadcasting industry through classroom settings and hands-on experience. Students will be introduced to the responsibilities of a radio programmer and learn about interviewing, creating show topics, and recording for the radio.
“On-Air Radio Production”
Volunteers are needed to assist the Instructor in the classroom by assisting the students as they learn radio skills, providing one to one support to the students and other duties as required. Volunteers will work within the small groups.
If anyone is interested you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 512-454-9912.
