We will be working together to eliminate ligustrum from this beautiful woodlands. The invasive weed shades out sunlight from the native diversity of plants that would otherwise flourish at this site. In order to accomplish this we will be using weed wrenches to pull up the target species, roots and all, and then using loppers to chop it down into mulch sized pieces.

City of Austin Watershed Protection Department biologists are guiding this project to make sure it is done ecologically.
