About

Become a part of the Motor-In Moscow Farmers Market Volunteer Crew!

As a response to COVID-19, the Moscow Farmers Market is offering the Motor-In Moscow Farmers Market as a contactless, curbside pick-up option. Customers place and pay for orders online between 9 am Tuesday and 9 am Thursday for a Saturday pick-up. Market vendors deliver customer orders Saturday morning to Moscow City Hall. As a part of this Volunteer Crew, you will assist in distributing customer orders by carrying items to open trunks as cars (and bicycles) drive through the City Hall parking lot, as well as help to break down and store tents, tables, and other equipment. By partaking in this volunteer opportunity, you are providing safe access to fresh food and locally made products, and keeping the beloved Moscow Farmers Market and its vendors going strong during these strange and difficult times. Thank you!

Please Note: This volunteer opportunity is best for people who have taken personal responsibility in following safety and personal hygiene protocols, such as mask wearing and social distancing, to avoid contracting COVID-19.

Do not volunteer if any of the following items apply to you:

  • You have been in contact with more than 10 individuals.
  • You engage in behavior or activities that put you at risk for contracting a sickness.
  • You do not wear a mask in public when closer than 6ft to others not in your household.

The Motor-In MFM is specifically designed for individuals who are at high-risk for COVID-19. Out of respect for our customers, staff, and volunteers, along with our desire to slow the spread of COVID-19, please consider this message before you decide to volunteer. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Motor-In Moscow Farmers Market.
Please note that as of September 30, 2020, all registration for these events has been closed to additional registrants. This is in anticipation of Motor-In Market attendance decreasing substantially as the harvest season winds down.
If you have any questions, please message us.
Best wishes,
Moscow Farmers Market Staff
