About

The Montgomery County Hotline is a 24 hour-7 day week supportive listening and crisis intervention service. Volunteers are required to complete a training class to learn skills related to listening, problem solving, information and referral, suicide prevention, and crisis intervention. After training, volunteers are asked to commit to fifty 4-hour shifts. The Hotline provides a protected and comfortable setting where volunteers answer calls. Trainings are held 4 times a year. Call or email to learn more about upcoming trainings.
